Methodology
Rankings are based on price per gram of protein — total product price divided by total protein in the container (protein per serving × number of servings). We analysed 376 SKUs from 42 brands on Amazon India in April 2026. Prices change; verify before purchasing.
We focused on actual protein powder categories (whey concentrate, isolate, blend, pea, soy) and excluded protein bars, mueslis, and RTD shakes for this ranking.
